I understand that this question is relatively subjective, but I'm fine with personal opinion. I'm having trouble making a decision. I'm definitely getting the GT Premium w/ Performance Package, but I'm on the fence about the 50th Anniversary Appearance Package.
I understand that if you get BOTH, any overlapping features between the two trims will default to the PP. So, that said, in reality, if you get both of these packages together, you're only getting some subtle changes to the interior and exterior for about however much the package costs.
Is it worth it? I'm not quite sure. On one hand, my logical brain says - no, that's stupid. You're not getting wheels, you're not getting any special dash (aside from the 50th Anny badge), but you're still paying full price for the package.
On the other hand, I'm planning on keeping this car garaged with low miles. Will it be worth much 40 years down the road? Who knows? But at current, this car isn't planned to be a year round daily driver. I'd drive it to work and to cruise in (15 minute commute) during the summer and garage it during the winter. Additionally, my mother owns a cherry 25th Anniversary Mustang, and it's neat to see the badging on it.
Help me out, fellas.
