I sent a request to Ford Service asking, exactly what is on the LE...If/When I get an answer, I'll share it...IMO, it will show up soon on this site from someone in the know.

Was told to contact my dealer...I asked my dealer for a copy of the DORA...He sent these, said it's what he has on my LE.

Ouch I just saw something in your order that kinda of hurts. The gross vehicle weight.

GVW 4720lbs

GVW of a 2013 premium was 4600lbs in comparison. Food for thought although I know numbers can change and aren't quite verified yet.

GVW includes passengers, all fluids and storage capacity. I'm not sure if that figure is significant or not. The vehicle could still weigh less than the outgoing models, but allow for more weight inside it.

Yes, I am not saying that's how much it's going to weigh. But the max that it can weigh with passengers and cargo went up by 120lbs. GVW also varies by model, I expect an automatic 50th LE to be the heaviest of the 2015's. Mustangs also normally carry a 1,000lb tow rating.

I got a PM from FordService on here who said that my order would go into scheduling within a couple weeks, and that's when a VIN would get issued.

I've never owned/ordered a L.E. vehicle before. Do you know if we can tell our Car Serial number by the vin?

Good question. I've been wondering too.

Since Ford confirmed that the limited edition has its own VIN format, I would think the serial number could be the same as the production number.
