What is the complain about the throttle response? Doesn't Sport mode or Track Mode take care of that? I have the AFE filter and Borla Catback duo and it feels like the throttle response increased even in normal driving mode. I would love to put my car on a dyno to see the results.
A well tuned 5.0 will be a night and day difference in drivability and throttle response. Throttle response will be very crisp and immediate vs. stock feeling and lag as you hit the gas pedal.

I just put a JLT intake and SW longtubes on yesterady with a Lund tune. To say FI or stay stock is dumb. My car is so much faster and runs so much better. Only issue is how freaking loud and menacing it sounds with the Corsa.

I totally agree. I went the same route and am very happy. Would I like FI, sure.....but I cant swing it right now.

Todd,

This new Mustang by far has the best throttle response compared to the other cars i ve driven. You touch a little and it registers right away. Even the timing of the rev needle moving with the touch of my foot is amazing.

The Sport Plus and Track Mode feels absurd cause it even revs faster and jumps forward with just a little touch. My only complain about those modes are they don't feel natural. A car revving way pass 5000 rpm with just the foot half way down doesn't feel linear.

don't ever drive a race car. I want my engine to rev even faster when blipping the throttle, that is what the tune will do. These are drive by wire cars I believe.

Watch how fast the FPC revs in the GT350.

Too many people worry and complain about voiding the warranty on this car with some mods.

The chances of your engine blowing as a result of your CAI, tune, suspension parts, headers, etc are really really low when you compare it to the thousands and thousands of people that do it.

There is always some sort of risk in basically everything you do in life (surgery, drinking, getting doctor shots, car detail, foods you eat, smoking, and so on). Stop being so pessimistic and enjoy your car.

When you mod your car, you know there is some risk there. I'm about to get CAI, headers, and a tune. I'm not second guessing my decision that it "may" possibly void my warranty...If something were to happen (negatively), oh well, man up and accept it.

Just my perspective.

The first 2015 I test drove I immediately set it to track mode, still felt so soft and mushy that even my girlfriend commented. A properly tuned car feels so much better than stock it isn't even funny.

Then there's the alleged 12whp gain with the Gibson and a drop in. Was this done on the same dyno? Was it even done on the same day?
Same Dyno same day.... within a few hours of each other. I will post the dyno sheet for ya cuz you cant take anyone's word for it on the internet haha. Ya I know the numbers are low they would only let people run in 3rd gear or it would shake the crap out of there mobile trailer setup... :( Completely stock was 340whp

Why would the engine blow up in the first place? Why do people always assume that is the only failure that a warranty covers? Of the thousands of members on this forum how many have blown their engines vs the number who've had to go to the dealer for other warranty work. Of those likely hundreds of members who've had warranty work, how many have had their warranties "voided" from a tune?
The dealer i brought my car into for them to fix the tranny they were doing everything in there power to void mine! If i was tuned I would have had to pay for a new transmission (there may be better dealers out there than most but Ford has the ultimate say in this). For those of you with the MT82... I would be very careful. Right on the Ford receipt they were trying to claim "driver abuse" as the cause so they wouldn't have to replace my transmission. What do you think it would have been like if I was tuned? Extra power = more wear on drive train parts. Its so easy for Ford to claim your mod is what caused the problem. You brick your ECU, drive train parts, engine issues anything related to ECU control your SOL if you think you can get it fixed under warranty. THEY CAN TRACK YOUR ECU so pulling your tune off before you bring your car in wont work! pull the battery all you want it wont clear the log. Not to mention its Fraud/Lying whatever you want to call it. I did that to try to get rid of some of my track app times like my 0-60's nope... it cleared it but they still asked me about it a few days later after the car was at the dealer, even knew my exact times! I by no means was beating on the car either, it was a honest factory defect but I still had to argue with them. Car had 6000 miles on it all of which were Highway miles from multiple trips from Utah to Washington.

If you want to tune your car go for it nobody is stopping you. To he honest nothing will ever happen, and you wont have any issues. Just know what your getting into first. I would only recommend caution. I was about to tune my car but my whole warranty claim made me think twice.

That whp and torque for stock seems way low. I would take it to Ford and ask for the rest of my ponies! In your case, some of them seem to be left in the barn (factory);)

your supposed to run a 1:1 ratio which is 5th gear. Not to mention it was 100F I do want to go to an actual dyno and do it again kinda felt robbed with my numbers. There were two other 15's that ran that day as well both were in the 330-350 range. I really think it was because we were running in 3rd gear.
