Yes the bore of the spacer is smaller then the 73 mm throttle body so that would make the throttle body useless because it's going from the bigger throttle body right to the smaller spacer.

My v6 went 13.9 with just a spacer with a 5.6 0-60 according to track apps. Never did a bone stock run, spacer went on right away

those are alot better than what im seeing. makes me wonder if my "intake" is hurting me. i havnt made any runs on the stock airbox but mayne i need too. i mean...i figured my runs down at sea level would be close to 14 flat. ive been driving/racing stick cars since i turned 16. i feel my launches are prettt good. im not power shifting though....and maybe thats why the number are low but my 0-60 is a full second slower than yours....i dont shift that bad haha. were your runs on stock tires? im getting some 18x10s with 285s so that should allow a more aggressive launch.

For some reason the manual cars are slower with the 0-60 then the autos. Yes I was on the stock tires I had the 051A package with 18's and 3.15 gears.

i think alot of the stick issues is the factory tune. it feels like they pull some tq out of 1st gear. and the lag between shifts doesnt help. im excited to see how much the tune from torrie helps. too bad im in a freakin work trip till next weekend

Yeah I know Torrie tuning really helps the auto Trans shifting as well as give a decent hp and torque gain, Nothing crazy of course

he says theres a number of places in the stock tune where they limit tq...i think thats a huge selling point...getting rid of all that crap and getting better throttle response...especially on a stick car. throttle response is everything

My v6 is a manual, just a spacer installed so far, everything else is stock... 5.8 was my best, 5.9 is what I get constantly though. Maybe people are just not launching it right? hahaha. Before the spacer I couldn't get lower than 5.9, because of that lag when shifting... I'm really curious as to why the spacer got rid of the lag, literally went away when I put it in, never had it again...

You want to find that spot where there is almost wheel spin, but not really. Like the tires squeal, but no wheel spin precisely... When I got 5.8, my 0-30 was 2.4, but my best 0-30 was 2.3, so I'm sure I can get it to 5.7, maybe even 5.6 if I do it perfect? :p

I will say he doesn't improve throttle response quite a bit. I barely had to push the gas pedal down and I was moving lol

Meant to say he does improve it lol

so i got my tjme down to 5.8 sec. this is at 4,000 ft. with a drop in k&n and mufflers removed. i launched pretty hard with a decent amount of tire spin and thats what got it below 6 sec. but i got to say....has anybody else experienced their cars "going flat"...sometimes the power feels great...then other times seems like the ecu has changed the tune or something and the power feels lower. anybody else notice this?

I kind of feel like that sometimes.... no idea why, because my times are usually very consistent, even when I feel the power has "dropped". Always around the 5.8-5.9 range, only have a spacer, so pretty much stock... Really want to get my hands on a tune though.
