is yours a MT car? yeah, I bought a sct tunner from torrie, but sct doesn't have a ecu template for my ecu code yet....they have to create one, and who knows how long that will take. to say im disappointed is a understatement

Yup, MT. Can't stand automatics haha, they take too much away from the experience. :headbang:

automatics are lame. nuff said :p they help with burnout...and the the AT's now have remote start which is cool...but that's it. I hate autos...I put up with them in family cars but that's it :p

one interesting note...I went back from my DIY intake to the stock intake...and all that between shifts hesitation went away. very interesting. I tried to match that 5.8 with my DIY and only got 5.9 and 6.0..but it spun real hard in 2nd gear. ps...im getting 3rd and sometimes 4th gear chirp :p I found the best way to launch was actually a little wheel spin. seems that when you let it hook and it bogs a little, it runs slower. that's been my experience. I need to run the 1/4 and play around with my intake stuff....if theres more power with the DIY intake, it will show up better in a 1/8 or 1/4 run. too many variables in the 0-60

Best I've gotten to was 5.7 I believe here in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago (Elevation ~700ft.) Car is completely stock with 3.15 gears and A/T, but I shift manually in sport mode. Tires are Hankook 225 all seasons with temperature around 65F.

Very imresive 1/4 mile times. My 0-60 is 5.6 right now. Torrie I want to have whatever he has lol I'm going to 1/4 mile drag strip tomorrow. Would you be able to get me super aggressive 93 tune for drag strip with 2.5k rpm launch control? Only other mod I have is Gibson Catback.

2500 is probably too low...especially for a prepped track. even on the street im bogging after a little spin leaving at 2500. im at 3000 right now. its a bit much. i tried 2800 and it was almost perfect. 2900 would probably work best for my car in the street. at the track id nees atleast 3000 since they normally prep the track with glue/traction compound

285s...but they are cheap. they hook in a straight line about how the stock ones did...they just corner better.

plus....if 3000 is too much...you can always just hold the rpm lower yourself. if it bogs at 2500....you would he able to launch it any harder than that. btw...i discovered i can change the rpm myself by adjusting the nuetral rev limit in the programmer.

Yeah that's one downside about SCT... When you did 13.5 1/4 mile run was it at the drag strip or you were using track apps? Also when you use launch control, do you push gas all the way down and let the clutch out or you gradually push gas pedal down after the launch?
