I see that everyone says a custom tune will void your warranty. (and im familiar with the argument that it has to be proven to be the fault of the modification, yata yata yata...)

Is it not possible to load and unload tunes with our vehicles and programmers so that you could save and put the stock tune back in before you take it in for service? Sorry in advance if this is a really dumb question, I am not a mechanic and have no knowledge within the area that I speak of, lol...

They can tell computer has been flashed
If they check for it then yes, but if you service your car at the same dealer and every time you take it there, the car looks and acts like stock then I highly doubt that.

Incorrect. You warranty can't be VOIDED just because you use an aftermarket part or changed a tune. A dealer can DENY warranty work and Ford CAN investigate it and if they do find that you caused the issue they can VOID certain parts of the warranty that pertain to where you caused the damage. You fuck something up in the engine, they can't VOID your whole drive train warranty unless they prove you caused damage to everything.

While true, a voided verdict and a denied verdict still leave you in the same spot.

How much money do you want to spend taking Ford to court trying to prove that your modification didn't make that part of the car break?
