If I buy my headers that are 1 7/8 and 3" do I have to buy a 3" enhuast as well to fit correctly? I'm wanting a set of Borla Ataks and the Kooks 1 7/8 LTH but they're 3". I don't want to blow $2k+ for non-compatable parts.


I'm wanting to buy my exhaust first, install it, save up and buy headers later asap.

Any help on combo and brands and best sound would be super helpful.

They do make 3" to 2 1/2" adapters for situations like this.

To get the full benefit of the 3'' collector you'd be better off with 3'' exhaust pipes.
