Lol, Ford is batting 1000 with Sync3.

Delayed Android Auto and CarPlay. Busted Sirius audio antenna. Now the travel link stuff is broken.

Go ford!

I called Ford today and they say they still do not have an answer I did ask if they are getting complaints from 2017 owners and he said he didn't know I sure would like to hear from a 17 owner

Yes, my 2017 GT350 has the same problem with signal loss. Have not as yet discussed with dealer. Seems to happen in same places where I drive, either weak signal or maybe too strong?

2017 GT checking in, terrible reception. I can understand going under an overpass, but when I am on top of the thing, I should be getting reception (clover leaf on-ramp). I was coming home from Sacramento to San Jose going down 5 which is flat and still had it cutting in and out in certain sections. So it is poor.

The wife has a 16 ecoboost premium convertible with nav. I have a 16 coupe, no nav.
Both of us describe the reception as "poor". Neither of us had this problem with our previous cars, Pathfinder and Challenger, both loaded and with nav.

The antenna that's been mentioned previously as fixing the issue, does anyone know if it needs line of sight or if it will pick up a signal through the dash plastic? Can it just be placed next to the center speaker?

Reception makes no sense. There are locations in Raleigh that are clear to the sky that I can count on losing reception, but I can sit under a concrete awning two cars wide in the pickup line at the drugstore and it doesn't skip a beat.

If you mean clear between you and the satellite which will be at a significant angle rather than straight above, then its a matter of some kind of interference these bad antennas are better at picking up than the satellite signal.

I don't know if anyone has complained to the service instead of or in addition to Ford. They would not be happy to know that they are losing business because of Ford's hardware and might twist Ford's arm to resolve this faster.

I did, and Sirius told me something is wrong with the car. They're right, because none of my other cars drop out in the areas that my 16 does.

adding in. my 16 with Sync 3 and Nav does this. I can sit on one overpass and it dies until I cross over. Damnedest thing.... Clear line of sight to the sky it drops. Sit in my garage it picks up perfect and my 14 never dropped signal.
