It seems like your torque management may be too active on a stock turbo. I would think it would light up faster. Maybe a 2nd gear leave would work better for more load?

dang i was supposed to go tomorrow but looks like bad weather. wasnt able to find a log with accel pedal pos and engine throttle control to compare them, but i did have torque maximum cvc (torque control). pretty much 236ftlb limit while on footbrake
