Ah the world of dark paint, ain't it a bitch. I had a 2002 WS6 Trans Am in navy blue for 16 years and I feel your pain.

I have this love-hate relationship with black cars. Every time I buy one, I say never again! Until the next one comes along that is 🥴 :)

In early March my wife and I were in Georgia and noticed a yellowish dust on everything, even all the cars at a car dealership we drove by. Turns out it was some kind of tree pollen and happens at that time every year. We don't experience that in my part of Illinois. We have plenty of bugs though.

I owned only one black vehicle. A 1991 Ford Aerostar. Ugly and black. Never had any inkling of buying a black car after that.

Truth be told the Aerostar wasn’t all that bad of a van for the time. Roomy reliable and 4WD. But ugly and black.

That's nothing.....

Where we are, it's literally "raining" pollen... there is so much of it, it's like someone dumped bottles of yellow talcum powder all over everything... it's very thick, not just a dusting...

The air is literally yellow as far you can see when out driving through the heavier areas of forest.
