I live in a tiny little house in Southern California, after moving here from the Midwest. So, my garage is packed with all the stuff that fit in my Midwest homes. No room for the Mustang, unfortunately. So, yes, it sits there baking in the sun and getting covered with whatever nasty stuff is flying through the air.

.. Car cover?

The only time i hate having a black car lol. I washed and dried it the other weekend in my driveway and by the time i got it back in my garage it was yellow again. Its been insane this time of year. Not to mention all the sinus pressure and pain ive had because of it. Its a yearly thing but its been the worst this year.

That's exactly why I've given up on washing my black GT/CS. What's the point? It's a filthy mess, but if I spend the time or money to wash it, it's going to look exactly the same within a day or two.
More like by later in the day, it's already covered with pollen. And I try to keep my car covered all the time. No use during this time of year.
The other thing I see on my black car is the bee poop. Yes, bee poop. You see it on dark colored cars. They're little brown streaks, litterally looking like poop from tropical fish in your fish tank. The bees are gathering and eating all the pollen, then extreat it while flying around. It then gets baked on in the sun.

Ah, yes. Pollen time here in East TN too. I rinsed mine off end of last week and it looks like it's been thru a dust storm. And mine is parked inside. And my nose and eyes run 24/7 even on Allegra for months. Ugh...

California Duster works well on pollen.

As I posted in another thread, my solution is ceramic coating and a California Duster (accept no substitutes!). Blue Mustang; black SUV.

I have to say, that's one thing I haven't noticed.

My wife and son are very affected by the pollen as well. I'm lucky in that regard, at least. No allergies to speak of. Just a really dirty car that hurts me a little every time I look at it.
