poke definition

Hello

As I newbie and also btw a frenchie !!! , I googled and cannot find a good definition of " poke" Can someone please give me a teaching lesson about it ? Perdon my ignorance but every time I read this word I cannot associate this word to a specific defition.

I believe here it is being used to say how far the tire and wheel pokes out or sticks out from the fender or body. I could be wrong and will be quickly corrected if I am. do a forum search for images using the term poke and you will see examples.

Lets say you installed wheel spacers between the hub and your wheels...your wheels then would stick out more and have additional poke...or if you put on wheels that didnt have the same offset as oem,,,that would give you more poke too.

Poke = past the fenders/body, usually at the top. I.e. does it look like the wheel would hit the body when the suspension compresses (even of technically it would tuck inside the fenders just barely because of suspension geo)
