So I ordered have custom offsets and I adjusted the rims at the last minute and did 10 and 1/2 rears with a plus 30 offset in front are nine and a half with the 24 offset when I was putting them on I noticed the poke from the rears I haven't touched the front yet any ideas on how to fix this or should I just sell them and start over.
Rear tires are Eagle F1 315x40x19
Sreeds lowering springs.

I'm using a 19x10, +35 rim in the front and rear of my Mach. Attached is a photo.

Here is a list of stock sizes and their offsets as a reference.

GT500 CFTP wheels are +32 front, +50 rear, 305/30/20, 315/30/20, 20x11, 20x11.5.

GT500 Base wheels are +32 front, +50 rear, 305/30/20, 315/30/20, 20x11, 20x11.

GT350R wheels are +24 front, +56 rear, 305/30/19, 315/30/19, 19x11, 19x11.5.

GT350 wheels are +30 front, +62 rear, 295/35/19 and 305/35/19, 19x10.5, 19x11.

Mach HP wheels are +24 front, +52 rear, 305/30/19 and 315/30/19, 19x10.5, 19x11.

Mach non-HP wheels are +40 front, +52.5 rear, 255/40/19, 275/40/19, 19x9.5, 19x10.

GT/PP2 wheels are +24 front, +48 rear, 305/30/19, square, 19x10.5, 19x11.

GT/PP1 wheels are +45 front, +52.5 rear, 255/40/19, 275/40/19, 19x9, 19x9.5.

GT/CS rims appear to be 8.5" square, 255s all-around. Offset To Be Confirmed.

Needs more positive offset in the back.

if you had too much you could remove some with a spacer but you can't fix that without getting a new wheel

Will be hard to sell those to another Mustang owner because they will fit like that on every car without a wider rear quarter panel. You also have tires on those rims that are a bit wide for a 10.5” wheel, and extremely tall.

You unfortunately need to reorder those rear wheels with a +50 ish offset, and get a 305/35/19 tire at most. 295/35 would be even better as far as the measured width most tire manufacturers recommend.

Mach HP and GT350R rear tires are 26.4” tall. GT350 (305/35/19) are 27.4” tall. GT500 are 27.4” tall. A 295/35/19 is 27.1” tall.

You have a 28.9” tall tire in that wheel well.

Your right I originally wanted a 295 45 19 then read on the 305 40 19 but the tire shop had these at great deal and I wanted lip to save the rim from NY potholes but like you said I should have stuck with them and now have to re order both.

295/45/19 is even taller at 29.45”. No reason for that as far as i know.

What front tire did you go with? Hopefully near 275/35/19. 275/40 is 27.7” tall. Dont really want the front taller than the rear.

i would run 275/35 and 295/35 with 9.5 and 10.5” x 19 wheels. Thats 26.6 and 27.1”. Thats plenty of tire height on a lowered car.

Fronts are 275/40/19 . I meant a 295 40 19 was my original idea I wanted 40 all around which drew me to the 315 40. The lowering springs are mild I was going to go even lower then decided to stay with a little wheel gap. I agree with the 295 but probably have to do 295 40 19. I have 255 40 19 all around

Why insist on a 40 series tire?

I liked the ride quality better than the 35 out here and less wheel gap. I ran 35 on my other ones and since I didn't want to lower it too much I went 40. The 315 40 is a beast even compared to my 275 40 in height and sidewall. I saw the mistake but I was hoping it wouldn't be as bad and a little camber would fix it until I mounted everything..

You do realize a 285/35/19 has only 2 mm less sidewall than your 255/40/19 ones? You could get a 295/35/19 and gain a mm of sidewall. They also have the right tire height.

Hmmm good point then I have to swap the fronts also from a 275 40 to a 275 35.

Id return those tires if you can. The 275/40 in front is locking you into a 295/40 in back so it looks right. And those are just too tall.

Try not to get focused on aspect ratio. Its a ratio. Its a function of the total width. As you go wider you should reduce the aspect ratio and end up with a tire that has a similar overall height and side wall thickness.

So you think a 275 35 front and 295 35 rear would have a decent sidewall and profile.?
