His wheels are staggered, as he mentioned 10/11 width wheels. Only tire sizes offered on those is 275 or 285 fronts, and 305 or 325 rears. I will assume he has the larger. I have the larger sizes, and my fronts are flush, rears poke about 1/4" or so. I need mud flaps too. What size wheels and tires did you get? What was the wheel offset, staggered or not staggered? How much do they poke out compared to stock?
My new tires areZL1 Addons offers some nice rock guards for a decent price. They're fairly discreet, too
True. My 285 fronts don't poke at all. they are flush. His should be the same as they are the same wheels.Just so you know, the term "poke" is used to refer to how far past the TOP of the fender the wheel/tire protrudes. Just want to make sure people aren't getting confused, as I highly doubt a 285 is sticking out half an inch haha
SVE offers only 2 wheels in the SV2 line. 19X10 (35mm) & 19X11 (50MM). That's the only choices.IF you look at the offset on a Forgestar 19x11 fitment for 2015+ you will see that he offset is 56mm. The offset on your setup is only 50mm, 6/25.4 = .230". So there is your pooch. Doubt they make that rim in a higher pos offset.
Rims will vary slightly from maker to maker on a given offset, but it is usually very little if any in my experience and believe me I have bought some rims in the past. Case and Point - THe KMC district use to be offered in only a +40 offset for the 20x10.5" at a distrib. in Texas, Upon reviewing the KMC website I found that the 20x10.5 was available in the same =45mm offset that Vosson specs on their 20x10.5 wheels for 2005+ Mustangs. So I contacted this distrib and they looked into it. IN the meantime I had a friend at a tire store verify everything, order the rims for me and they worked like a Glove. I have them currently on my 17. The TX distrib later updated their webpage to offer the 20x10.5 in the correct offset of +45mm. So you may wish to research the maker of the SVE wheel and see if they offer the 19x11 in a 56mm offset (assuming it will fit back there). It may be the IRS that limits an 11" wide rim having that much offset for that width. But it may be worth checking.
Seconding this one. I've heard and seen good things about the Rokblokz. ZL1Addons seems to have issues that they don't. Only thing I didn't really like is that they put the name on the bolts, but oh well.Rokblokz
I thought he was concerned with rear wheel because of the reference to mudflaps and because most of the issues on 05+ setups is rear wheel related with respect to this topic (they do use the same offsets on the rear in spite of being suspension differences).True. My 285 fronts don't poke at all. they are flush. His should be the same as they are the same wheels.
Third. I installed my Rockblocks a month ago when I installed spacers, and I really like them!Seconding this one. I've heard and seen good things about the Rokblokz. ZL1Addons seems to have issues that they don't. Only thing I didn't really like is that they put the name on the bolts, but oh well.
Thanks guys I understand the POKE terminology better now! The problem I have is the same as LSchicago worried about rock chips in paint my extends just like his.I will look into the Rokblokz mud flaps.. LSchicago is your speedometer off I have to do some more testing with a gps but it appears mine 3 mph faster according to check your speed warning sign.Third.
