Josh, learn to laugh, or at least smile, a little. Folks on here are trying to help you the best they can. Lighten up a little bit on those that interject a little humor.
No I’m grateful for all the help, don’t get me wrong. But there’s a time and place yeah? I’m trying to figure out the problem, not dick around. If you’re not gonna help and send a Winnie the Pooh character and then make a kinda weird joke, it’s just off putting. It’s why instead of getting mad I just responded with intense sarcasm.

... my hazards were on because when you’re on the side on the road and your car is making a knocking noise, you usually keep your hazards on to not be impolite. If you can ignore the hazards and actually pay attention to the video and give input, that’d be great.
Josh, just read though your thread and have to admit I'm a little confused. You have a 562HP Shelby GT350 that is making engine noises you know it shouldn't. Asking us to diagnose you problem is just not realistic. Even if one of us were lucky enough to nail it what difference would it make. At the end of the day only the dealer can make the call and decide what to do.

As to who is going to pay for that answer is also fairly easy. Unless you are a new driver and this is your first car you know darn well what beating on it is. Now these cars are meant to be driven hard, very hard. You also know if you have done something that created this problem. One way or another the dealer will let you know if it is or is not covered under warranty.

You might also want to specifically answer the question regarding your oil change as your problem seems to have started after it was done. Who actually did it and what type of oil and filter did they use. If it wasn't the dealer Ford is going to want to know.

Lastly in the future if you do post another video of a noise, please turn off anything else that can distract from hearing it. Good luck at the dealer and fill us in as to what the actual damage is.

I think we have a rule that sarcasm is not allowed until you have at least 100 posts on the forum. :cwl: :like::rockon:

OK. Sounds like a blown up engine.

Firstly, I’m not asking for a specific diagnosis. If you got that idea from my post, either I messed up or you’re confused. Either way, there is miscommunication going on here. Why I’m asking is because the difference it would make is knowledge going into the repair of the car and knowing if this will be hell or just a simple fix. Thanks to the people who responded and tried giving advice I have an idea of what it is which is exactly what I wanted.

Secondly, I’ve had people with Mustang GTs be denied warranty over this and with someone who is very anxious, yeah another opinion would be nice. Ford isn’t known for their quick and easy fixed with the GT350, in fact I’ve heard and experienced hell from them. I also already explained what happened leading up to this. If you didn’t see that, reread it or take me at my word.

Thirdly, I addressed EVERY post that notified me asking questions, including the oil change and stated that the oil changed was fine, and nothing notable went wrong. If you’d like me to give more detail as to the oil change... ok? I addressed the oil change as a potential problem to see if someone that went through my issue and maybe if that’s what caused it. I’m asking to see what went wrong as many people do. I already have all the details ready for the dealership, make no mistake. Again, I’m asking for advice and maybe some experience from other people. If you didn’t get that, I’ll make it more clear but again people seemed to give me a good idea and confirmed my suspicions.

Lastly, the knocking was as clear as day as everyone else managed to hear it. If you can’t hear it I will gladly post another video and had multiple people not been able to hear it, I would’ve immediately but no one ever complained about it aside the guy who treated this like a joke and you and the other guy who’re defending him. I didn’t know about the 100 post rule so... won’t do it again. Once again I’m very grateful for everyone who helped and I’m happy for all the co-operation. The problem seems obvious now of it being either the rod or rod bearings. I also feel much better with people reaffirming me about the warranty and being quite calm. For someone who’s fairly new, I appreciate the help and reaffirmation. If you’re done defending the other guy, I can move on and give updates as this progresses. This post can also help other people who may encounter a similar problem and maybe not be so inclined or are in the same boat of me where they just need affirmation.

Once again, thank you for everyone who helped and for the other guy... knowing audience is good but no hard feelings. I’ll keep y’all updated as time goes on.

Also, WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT?
Exactly what did I miss?

Based on this, I'll pass on responding to the rest of your post.

Ok... I already have a good idea and got an answer out of the post. You don’t have to respond idk why that’s really important. I said “WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT” as a half joke but I guess humour is subjective. Obviously I want to know what’s wrong with it but I’m not deadly serious. I’d just like to know before I start messing around. I’ve already said my peace. If you wanna drag this out, do it yourself. I’ve got my answer and I’ll keep everyone who’s curious posted.

Try to take some of these guys with a grain of salt. A lot have never done more than bolt a cold air induction on their car.

To me, it sounds like a spun rod bearing. Let us know what they tell you.

Yeah of course. I don’t really care too too much, I just respond to everyone, good or bad. Again, I’ll see you all tomorrow.
