Hello,

My plate finally came in, and I looked at the holes in the rear bumper, and they appear to be kind of, plugged or something.

I asked my dealer quickly, and they just said screw the bolts in and they will go through it and be fine.

That sound right?

They didn't put anything on the rear when you got your car? take a photo of it.
Nope. I got it right off the truck. Very little PDI was done I guess.

I can take a picture when I leave work.

The should be solid plastic, no thread or anything, same with the front bumper. The dealership uses self tapping screws to put on their license plate frames.

that's what I was thinking. Any screw with a sharp point, a drill, and a little bit of pressure should be all you need.

We use rivets to mount the front brackets, but I don't know what we do for the back.

This is kind of a problem for me, because my front license plate frame is extremely loose... might need to get it retapped.

Here is pictures. I do have the screws they normally use, they are pointy and such. Do I just line it up and goto town?

yep!

they should go right in. Just don't over-tighten.

I am so jealous that you have your car already!
Man, I bet your car is close enough now that you can smell it.
