I’m planning ahead to start making the necessary mods for boost. A few questions to determine the method that takes place. For what the car has now, 20x10” Velgen VF10 wheels, stock springs, FRPP shocks/struts, Steeda stop the hop kit and sways, Corsa active exhaust.
I’m leaning heavily towards the ESS G3 with upgraded IC to compliment the A10 and 3.15’s. Any reason to not go this route? The car is a daily driver for now, but I also have plans of getting a daily.
I am still considering a Whipple, but I don’t think it would be worth the extra $. It seems to me like the centri better suites the high rpm Coyote.
I keep reading about the cat issue, I’m reluctant to do so headers with the Corsa Active because it’s going to be stupid loud. But I keep reading about cat failures. Are these failures a very common thing? If so is it mainly on cars running E85 or tuned for max power? If it’s super common then I’ll plan appropriately and add some bullet mufflers in my Corsa system to nock the edge off.
What kind of power with a stick gen 3 Coyote hold without too much worry? Building an engine is not something I plan on in the immediate future. I’m in the middle of building a 632 for my other car and not really interested in building 2 at once.
