So I'm going to start saving for a supercharger and was wondering what mods would you suggest to compliment and protect the engine and drive train when i do supercharge my mustang.....I was going to get an intake but read that would be a waste of money if you're going FI anyways. For now all I have is a solo race cat back.

Oil pump gear and timing gear. It's worth it to do those at the same time just to save labor costs. What blower you thinking of going with?

All depends on what setup, and power level you want. Most base systems don't need any supporting mods.

I figure budget wise I'm going to save around 6-8K....I rather spend more and do it right than skimp and have issues. Goal wise, I want something reliable.....pushing close to 600 hp but the main thing is reliable.

600 rwhp is easily achieved with base systems, full reliability, and zero supporting mods needed.

600 on these cars are easy. You have plenty to choose from.
