Can’t hear much of a slap. Piston slap has a definite sound to it that you can hear either when it’s idling if it’s severe enough or when revved. When are you hearing it? When sitting in the car on initial start up or when driving?

Sounds exactly (or quieter) than mine. These engines are inherently loud with direct injection and 32 valves. Perfectly normal to my ears.
