TRS finally released their Morimoto fog light upgrade for the 15+ mustang, so I picked up a set of those to compliment the new head lights.

Any Canadians want a set of LED fogs?

Let's see some pics when you get them installed.

Will do, I'll be home next week, and will begin installs on all above parts excluding the wheels. Which, are about another month out.

Here's a comparison with the Luxeons added to a Focus ST as a reference:

These housings are produced by Esuse

The factory Valeo LED housings produce identical (if not better) output to the Esuse (Luxeon, Mori) LED housings

We have them available on our website as well: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/.../s/luxeon-led-fog-lamps-type-a/category/1446/

Sorry for threadjacking a bit, I just wouldn't consider these an upgrade to the OEM units, which is why we haven't listed them for the 2015 Mustangs.

Not a problem, all input is welcome. It really boils down to the beam pattern on this one. If I don't like them, they'll come right back out.

I ran a set for a bit on my truck before getting the Rigid DOT fogs (destroys the mori lights). They did lay down a nice pattern though. Another big factor will be color temp, as my 50 watt EVO upgrade will lay down all the light I need. Whichever matches better will get huge points.

Huge thanks to Lethal Performance for the bad ass deal on a set of 1 7/8" catted stainless power headers. I'll have a true 3" exhaust now!

Okay, so here's comparison shots of the Valeo (OEM) and morimoto fog housings.

Began the harness and seat delete install.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1439059792.465070.webp

I was able to pull out the original belt retractor, and swapped the belts so that my harness tie point will look as clean as possible.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1439059879.390995.webp

Corbeau retractor is too big to fit in the factory mounting position seen in the background.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1439059992.790146.jpg

If you pull the belt all the way out, you can slide the belt through, and remove the anchor. I advise using something to keep tension on the OEM retractor while you thread the belt through the trim and fair-leader.

Then, just bolt it into the the original location.

To be continued...
