Thank you vey much guys. So truly the best line of defense is the Jack rail. I will try to paint over the chipping the shop has done and get jacking rails. I do notice where they jacked up there are teeth marks that have damaged the flat black rocker panel. Are these rocker panels sold seperately? Its bugging me so much I might just take these off and put new ones on just to have it looking new.. Im telling you right now I will just let the car sit and NEVER take the car to get serviced or looked at ever again. If I dont paint this soon and protect it in a few years something chipped under there could look like this.

Im telling you right now I will just let the car sit and NEVER take the car to get serviced or looked at ever again.
DIY. Find a shop that doesn't suck.

No it's just an image example of what typically starts to happen when the pinch weld area spreads rust.

That can't be any car that was made within the last 20 years or so. When auto manufacturers started using e-coatings, it sealed the paint pretty well against rust. E-coating is very expensive to construct and maintain. I don't know of any aftermarket companies that do it.

Of course, with flood damage, all bets are off.
