I am not a fan of this generation's M1 hood and strip either. Weakest part of the whole aesthetic package as far as I am concerned. So many better offerings from the past. Just remember, if you emasculate this pony by ripping the big headless phallus off it will cost you about a grand to reverse the surgery later.
Perhaps @traxiii will be able to rectify this imperfection soon for us all to see...

I think some colors look better with the stripe, than others. I was not a fan of it until I bought my car, it is subtle on the black.

Couldn't agree more. It works well with black. I can't get past the white border stripe on EG.
