Sorry....it's the top one without the gaps that looked rude.

Also, and yet again by looking at it quick I also see the word WEIGHT. It's still a great plate though!!!
haha thanks, I thought it was a good plate for the mustang and also if I end up selling it at some point then it should be a valuable plate.

Much prefer the top one if you can get away with it and I don't see anything rude.
No it doesn't look rude, when I scrolled down on this page and saw it for the first time I just saw the word SHIT at the end, it's the way the eyes and brain works I guess, when we see something quick it sometimes looks different to what it is, I can't see it now I've been looking at it for a while.

I have a friend who had a re spaced reg, the police didn't say anything about it but the MOT man did. I think I will go with the re spaced one and then get a proper set of plates in 4 years time for the first MOT.

Probably a silly question...but here goes.!

regarding the Sto N Sho, does the square plate fix by sticky pads or is screwed in...? (excuse my ignorance!)
Yeah just stick it on. Looks like there is plenty of contact area.

Will probably use Velcro and have a legal set of plates in the boot. So if I do get pulled over I can switch them back there and then.

Ahem - three years time - it is needed by the end of the third year... One of my mates was caught by this and ended up with a fine and (I think) 3 points; it could have been worse as no MOT also means no insurance...

A quick glance at yours and I thought it said SHIT at the end.

:first::lol::lol::lol::lol::frusty:

Go to a good motor factors and buy a reel of double sided number plate stuff.. ( Andrewpage do it 2 x reels ÂŁ6!!)
Its about 3mm thick 20mm wide
i guess...and sticks like a beauty.. comes in green protective film
just used up the last roll after 5 years ! For the mot then, proper plate with a small 1cm square to stick on

Thats what i do.... Velcros great, but not for plates

You can always cut down a number plate plastic fastener too ..If you want a dot, or make a letter different..
A C can become a G....well nearly..if u get my drift.

I have had all sorts of plates in all sorts of colours and never had a problem tbh... My last Mustang was running
White USA plates... Although they seem to leave the Classics alone..I dont think the police know the laws Lol.!!

If it's registered in June 2016 it's first MOT will be in June 2020. My 2011 car only had it's first MOT last year.

If you have recently ordered a personal plate (like me) don't try ordering a plate from someone like demon plates until your paper work turn up.

They take payment and THEN ask for Your proof of ownership to be sent.

Will teach me for ordering something I really don't need so early. :frusty:

No! It is definitely absolutely needed by the third anniversary so in your example June 2019.

It's only an extra ÂŁ30 as you shouldn't need anything done to the car to pass it.
