Here's a quick and easy solution for the undecided:
1. Test drive a former generation STOCK suspension Mustang (or two) with a live axle. Make sure you hit some bumps along the way.
2. Test drive a sixth gen Mustang with and without the performance package.
3. Realize that...while not perfect, Ford has come a long way with this new car, whether it has the performance package or not.
4. Make your decision based on the ride quality, etc., you prefer the most.
I didn't even test drive a base model, because the handling, gearbox, and freaking insane stopping power of the performance package setup was right for my daily driving needs and wants.
