Go for the PP if you don't hate the black wheels...I think that is the only real downside to the PP(I don't like black wheels). I don't have the PP but I would get it if I leased. As it is I am doing some upgrades that mimic the PP but I bought my EB so I can do it after the fact. The brakes are great difference, little better performance, and suspension parts. Get some better gauges also. No real downside other than cost so go for it. Have fun.

Black wheels matter does not approve your post.

If you take good care of your vehicle and don't mind a little leg work, leasing is a great option. I leased a 15 GT last February from the seventh dealership I contacted after 6 weeks of shopping and negotiating. The first offer started in the high $600s and I settled on a $448 monthly payment for a $35k-ish car with only $1400something down. I'm at a point in my lease where, surprisingly, my lease purchase price is 26,750 and I had it appraised at an Audi dealership for 28,250. So I can step into something new and recoup that original $1400 back.

The people who bash leasing are the ones who don't understand how it works. Not every vehicle should be leased, you just have to use common sense. I like new vehicles every two-three years, I take great care of my cars, and I prefer lower payments over a feeling of "I own this". (The bank owns it until it's paid off whether you lease or buy.)

Putting money down on a lease is generally a risky thing to do, because if you put 3000 down on a lease and total the car the following week you don't get that 3000 back to put down on your next car. I only put money down to get my monthly payment down to a comfortable number, but I knew the risks. Keep that in mind.

Always ask for a lease worksheet so you can do your own homework on the numbers. Edmunds Forums are a great resource for the latest lease terms on new cars. Good luck!

If I'm not mistaken, in 2016 you can get the PP wheels in silver, so no black wheels to worry about. I'm like you and don't like the black wheel thing. To me, that's what the aftermarket's for.
