PP it's worth every penny. The resale alone makes it a no question option.

PP is the only way to mustang
In your opinion. Try to listen to the question. OP is clearly not a Ricky Racer type and not everyone is best served by the biggest and baddest. Nothing wrong with the PP, just not the right solution for everyone.

Drop it

If you're not planning to race the car it's aggressive enough without.
I love my AT base.

The Performance Package is an absolute bargain, it's loaded with upgrades including the nice blacked out 19" rims and gauge package and lots more!!! It cruises very nice on the highway, super comfortable with adjustable steering settings.

For me, the only upgrades I wanted to pay for were the GT Premium Package and the Performance Package.

The Performance Package isn't harsh for daily driving and completely worth it just for the Brembo brakes and the turned aluminum dashboard (imo, much better than the flat aluminum) among the other upgrades.

Adjustable steering settings are standard and not exclusive to PP.

I have a 20015 GT with PP. I also lowered the car 1 inch with performance springs and still don't find the right objectionable. This car is mostly for highways commuting to work with some back road driving. Have you thought about trying the Recaro seats they're very supportive for backs and long-distance driving. Either way it's still going to be a really fun car.

Is the EB with PP and GT with PP basically the same suspension, etc?

Or is the EB with PP more along the lines of the GT without PP in terms of handling and ride?

Took a buddy of mine a ride in the car and he thought it was very smooth. I have the pp and he thought the car was very nice... And fast. Couldn't believe how fast I was going at one point till I told him. He never went that fast that quick. I don't plan to mod so that's why I got the pp. exhaust might be only thing I do. Too quiet.

Lonerider, do yourself a favor and test drive a vert with PP and one without. I believe your back can decern the difference. I'm 65 with back problems and I could feel a bit more road harshness come through with the PP. If you're going to track the car, by all means get the PP. If you're going to cruise along in the vert with the top down, you might want the smoothest ride around, no PP. The IRS has done wonders for our new Mustangs. And Nick, thanks for your SERVICE!

I started a thread with this question and never got a direct answer. Would be great to get 100% clarification but I think the base non PP GT and PP eco have similar or same suspension. They definitely have the same brakes. Two things the PP ecoboost has over the GT non PP in the handling department is less weight and wider summer tires.
