Aren't non-PPs equipped with all-seasons or some lower-tread wear compound?
All-Seasons go on everything except the PP and the 20 inch wheel options.

That said, I think the 0-60 times with automatics are bound to be faster than those with manuals, so it seems like the PP probably won't be the 0-60 king.

I'd agree one thing that mags seem to be able to agree on is the smoothness of the auto trans.

Thanks for the answers, P Zero Nero A/Ss won't generate anywhere near as much mechanical grip as a set of extreme performance summers, so if anything would affect acceleration from a dig, it would be that.

You have much bigger brakes, so there is additional weight, albeit not a lot.
Good point.

I wonder how the bigger brakes + fatter tires + 19 vs 18 inch wheel sums up in the end?

Spinning weight being much more critical than static (so to speak) weight, it is possible I ordered a lesser handling car by specifying the handling (PP) option.
Which would really suck.
