Will these settings pass Texas emissions? I just uploaded a new tune from Lund. I have long tubes with cats and VMP Odin supercharger. I passed last year by going back to stock tune, obviously not an option this time around.

That’s what I thought lol. So what’s the fix? Surely people with superchargers and long tubes pass emissions. I also need to drive around a little and I bet most of them then green?!?

Not in California they don't, I can only speak for California emission laws which are draconian. However, I am aware that depending on which county you are from in Texas dictates the laws, am I correct with that? I would do a little research online before getting flagged.

As far as getting the readiness codes to go green, make sure the Lund tune installed allows the readiness codes to go green. If it omits the rear 02 sensors you will never go green. If the Lund tune still has all the emissions parameters in it you will probably have to run spacers on the 02 sensors. The EVAP, GAS and EGR would go green, its just the CATS and the 02 sensors. Hell in Cali you wouldn't get past the blower unless it had a CARB EO#

You are allowed 1 not ready, 2 or more is a fail for your car.

Nice. This is my first mustang and Ngauge so excuse my ignorance. But is that telling the ready codes also or just want is being Monitors.

As someone who dealt with this myself, you need to get back onto a stock tune if you can, otherwise you're screwed. Unless you can get the cats hot enough and somehow get that test to run, you're going to fail.

Or you can find a local tuner who is willing to take a risk and turn off your O2's so you'll pass. Online ones won't do it.

PBD just sent me my stock file. I just step the tune down from FF to 93. Might try test with this tune. About how hot do I need to get the cats.

I asked a friend this question and he couldn't answer, when you turn off the rear O2's do they count as 1 or 2 not ready? The newer cars are only allowed 1 not ready, older OBD 2 cars are allowed 2 not ready.

Here, maybe this will help you. This is how mine always ended up no matter how what I did.

Here is what it looks like with O2's off and why the EPA gets all pissy. Counts as 1 not ready once fuel goes green which doesn't take long at all. EGR takes a few miles. This shows as N/A on the test which is not the same as Not Ready and you pass.

Thank you because that is something I wondered for a while, I don't sweat the EPA so much as I do having to deal with the local emissions testing to keep driving my car where I want. I don't have a Ngauge so I can't comment on the other stuff.

The blower is what is making this hell for you. One of the top reasons I'm probably staying N/A with the ability to flash back to stock. It's such a pain.
