I was cleaning my Mustang and vacuuming under the seat and I didn’t realize there was a water bottle jabbed underneath the seat that I didn’t see, I adjusted it back up and all of a sudden I heard a pop and I didn’t think much of it and saw that the bottle exploded. Cleaned it up and from there I tried adjusting my seat back and it wouldn’t go back any further, I moved it forward and it worked but going back it moved only to a certain point and it would stop. The up and down are fine and the forward adjustments but you can move the seat back but it’ll stop at a certain point. I’ve checked the tracks and it looks like there’s no debris or anything to block it.

I need your guys help to know what could the issue may be. It can’t be a wiring issue due to water damage since the whole thing works. My idea that I may have seen is that the part that tells it to stop at a certain point probably got jammed and moved to the point of where it stops. I’m not sure but any ideas would be greatly appreciated and awesome.

I’ve unplugged all the connections and reconnected them all and yet nothing.
