Paddles is optional with Auto?

I hesitate to order "Auto without paddles" . What if it'll come without paddles indeed?

The paddles is not a dealbreaker for me, they are fun the girst two times you drive the car but I would never pay 2K for them!
But you will get paddles, the dealer are wrong.

Issue is more serious. The import company Ford Hellas claims that are optional. Not the dealer.

Is the dealer you visited the only one around in your area? Otherwise go to another one...
Anyway, just order auto and don't mention paddles as they come standard on all auto's.

The ordering system is providing by Ford import Hellas and is common for all dealers. So, upon ordering all dealers will tell that paddles are optional....

Does this dealer has demo cars and is an official Ford store allowed to sell the Pony's? I still believe they are trying to rip you on an extra 2k though.

Yes. He has two demo. He is official and actually this is the Ford store. I'm telling you again that the order is direct from the Ford Hellas import company. That's why the issue is more serious.

X2, I Think you are overanalysing this, you WILL get paddles, but when I read your threads I guess the real problem is that you don´t trust your dealer and it that case you have two options, buy the car without the paddles option before 1 Nov and save 4000 euros or walk away and skip the Mustang.

Just write an email to Ford Europe and you will see. Ask them to confirm what your dealer says. There is no way you can get AT without paddles, it's just a standard equipment from a factory. I just checked my window sticker and there is no mention of paddle shifters, only AT SelectShift - and I still have them.

BTW, what if you just order from a dealer in Germany as I did? Everything went smooth, I already have my car while dealers here in Slovakia haven't delivered a single vehicle yet. And it was 2k EUR cheaper.

How much extra for window wipers? Same thing... they come standard!
Ford Hellas import seems to be as much unaware as your dealer...

Anyway, only a few day's left, so just order auto and stop worrying about it.

How many Ford stores do you have in your nearby region? Just visit another, find one that make you feel comfortable. Then order and don't mention paddles, Hellas won't take em off for sure if you don't pay extra. Btw charging you 2k extra can make them loose their Ford store license if you report this.
