To clear things up here.

Let me know how the install goes.
It doesn't come with gaskets?
The Gaskets are reusable ( Lifetime Gaskets ) so it makes sense on why they were not included..

Nope, I was a little surprised by that too actually. Gotta reuse the stock ones or buy new ones, probably around $20-$30 if I had to guess. Since I'm right under 25k miles on mine, not concerned with the quality of my stock ones by any means.
Please reference my comment above.

So Paul doesnt include the gaskets? Thats interesting. We use new OEM cores with our ported intakes and they have the new gaskets. Im surprised he doesnt.
You may include gaskets to make it sound like Paul missed something here but to make it clear they are lifetime gaskets and to be honest you shouldn't try to bash someone else's business because they didn't include gaskets that were not needed. However I have seen the port job you guys do ( which you never post pictures of by the way ) and when someone did post up a set they received from you it looked like a child with scissors ported them it was down right terrible and I advised him he should have disputed the charge. You guys are very unprofessional I watch the comments on here and on Facebook be a bit classier.

I was trying to keep the drama off of here, but yes that's why I went with Paul's instead. My originals reached him today, he confirmed they were in good shape and sent my core refund back right away.

Still waiting to hear back from MPT on how the air flow compares so I can bring that info back here if possible. May also be doing a dyno run this weekend if the event doesn't get cancelled, that way I at least have an idea of what numbers I'm at.

To me it is not drama it's just simply the truth being told and I hate bad business reps taking jabs and acting unprofessional. towards people on here and in the fbook pages.

I also got mine from Paul. Good return time and refund time. Job looked wonderful and felt smooth. The difference is very nice but I also am boosted with an 80mm TB.

We buy our cores brand new. I dont know why you wouldnt include gaskets. What are they doing throwing the old ones away? No hit on Paul, I was legitimately confused why he doesnt send the original gaskets that came with the intakes.

Also the look like they were ported with scissors huh? You should put ours on and dyno them back to back. 100% they will dyno within 5 rwhp of each other which is the normal variance of any dyno. As we have 10x the intakes on the market I will just let our work and all of our happy customers speak for themselves.

Also here are the pictures that have ALWAYS been on our website for viewing pleasure. If we ever somehow had a bad one get out we would 100% have the situation fixed. So far that hasnt happened.

I'm just waiting for someone to take fully revised tunes for each step and either dyno or track:

- stock intake/tb/headers
- stock intake/tb and shorties
- stock intake/tb and long tubes
- ported intakes/tb
- ported intakes/tb and shorties
- ported intakes/tb and long tubes
- ported intakes/tb and shorties and cat deletes
- ported intakes/tb and long tubes and cat deletes

So many variations to test and figure out what sort of gains are out there to be had from each/all together.

I've seen some good (above) and some bad shots (see OP links) of intakes from AMR and only good from P3 (hence why I went with Paul). As long as you stand by the product without arguing with the customer and the person fully reviews/inspects the intakes before taking off their stocks, no harm other than time for porting /shipping a replacement set. Not sure how you're making money on these though with your latest discount!

Tuning for it is a different story as I haven't seen anything but positive comments, especially regarding the timeline and review. If I hadn't purchased MPT a year prior, I would have likely given you a shot for that.

Its not your place as a business to publicly say you are confused or concerned on why another business doesn't do something, that is for the consumer to address if concerned. Hence why I said you were being inappropriate and not professional ..not to mention your FB rep that always has a 2 cents knock on someone on the Facebook pages.

Even your comment here is not the most professional "Also the look like they were ported with scissors huh? You should put ours on and dyno them back to back. 100% they will dyno within 5 rwhp of each other which is the normal variance of any dyno. As we have 10x the intakes on the market I will just let our work and all of our happy customers speak for themselves"

The problem here is a customer did post pictures of what they received and it did speak loud words to the people on the page and now that someone spoke up you don't seem to like to criticism you receive in return.. If I am able to obtain the photos from the individual with their permission I will post on here for you to see the... Quote ported by a child with scissors set

If I had advise for you as a business owner myself it would be to understand how to approach situations and customers on FB and on responses because they do not come off a professional.

Here as you can see these are your port jobs received by a customer that will remain anonymous.

Very rough, uneven, not smoothed and looks like a very unsteady hand.

I understand you like Pauls intakes and Im sure you havent ever done business with us. All of our customers are happy with the products they receive and if something was ever wrong as stated prior it would be addressed. What we dont pay attention nor care about is competitors or haters that want to do nothing but bash and hate. No time for that. I have never once said anything negative about any of the competition, whether it is a cnc company or a guy in his garage.

I know the customer whose pictures those are and who you all are telling him how rough they are. If he is unhappy he can ship them back for a full refund and go pay for another set. So far he hasnt wanted to do this. We ship out a lot of them and have no issues with ANY of them. As shown we have pictures of our intakes and how smooth they are and how well the flow proven by our fast our car runs on the track as well as other happy customers.

We sell them for $295 currently and that is for BRAND NEW OEM INTAKES not used ones. Once we build up a stock of used intakes we will have an even lower cost option of used intakes available as well. We are able to do this by having 2 full time porters porting 8 hrs per day and selling them in mass quantities. Plus as I have said before my porters work for race gas and softcore midget porn. That runs pretty cheap these days ;) If you have any other questions feel free to hit us up anytime. We are open 10am-10pm 7 days a week.

This has nothing to do with LIKING Paul's.. You are correct I have not done Business with your company because I felt like Kalob is not always the most professional hence I advised myself with my own opinion on not dealing with a company that allows those types of actions.

I am not a Hater nor am I a competitor. I do not have to have made a purchase to be a consumer. Also if you know who's intakes those are then YOU as a company should reach out to them knowing they are clearly bad. Also address 1 of the 2 that do the porting because someone clearly messed those up.

PS; Saying little comments like the gaskets is also bashing. You should say nothing at all.

Seems more have seen this post since it has began. Photos sent to me from other consumers. From an entire different page.. This photo is of a different set of AMR intakes then what I posted. As you can see the silencer fins were not sanded smoothly.

That intake will function with no problems and flow much better than stock. They dont even need to be removed. Most of the improvement comes from matching and smoothing the runners. That was one of our earlier ones, as we smooth sand the TB more now then we did back then.

They will all look just like this.

So question for you @Nagare

How much of a difference can you notice with the ported intakes? Is there a clear power increase or just feels more responsive?

Way more than the ported TB, less than the tune. Seemed to pull better on the highway too. I would say gears first, but I'm still waiting for a local guy to finish up with a boosted car before he takes the Torsen pumpkin out for me.

So getting these intakes really will depend on what boost setup I plan to go with. A cent. supercharger and turbos will likely benefit from these but obviously the M90 would completely replace the stock upper intake. I have always been curious though as to how ported intakes feel in terms of power increase.
