Ahh thank you, I had seen the first link previously, but not the second. It's all so very strange as it's not like the MT82 is some obscure component on an unpopular car.

Hoping to learn more once I can get back under the car and share specific transmission details.

They don't, but if the transmission was replaced that might explain something? Especially if you have the same bar code as someone with a 2019 car.

Ah, makes sense... it's looking to be pretty cold today/tomorrow here in the NE, we'll see how motivated I am tomorrow, haha.

Is there any service history on your car, OP? Any dealer should give it to you in some form, after somehow removing previous owner info. And as far as FORScan, you need to get your as-built full data, and reprogram your modules, and see what happens. Good luck.

Let me link you to that site, but you'll need to put your VIN twice, so you know. The first time will direct you to the home site. Close it, open it again, and the second time it'll take you to the as-build page. Hope this helps man. Great thank you, that’s good intel, and I may have more questions as Forscan is all new to me. Cable came in yesterday so now just to get some weather to cooperate haha.

And great idea on service history too... I’d think they would have told me originally but I did not explicitly ask. Really appreciate the assistance.
