I need to replace the steering column sensor on my 2017 GT. From what I have read the swap itself is pretty simple, its getting to it that's difficult. Has anyone done this before? Where is it located and how did you reach it? Any instructions on removing the steering column, if necessary?
Before anyone chimes in with "you should bring it to a professional", I tried. Ford wants waaayyy too much for this and I would end up spending less time/energy doing it myself vs finding another shop. UNLESS someone can recommend a solid shop in south Florida that is familiar with this work...
