I recently have gotten this DTC and when ever I reverse my reverse camera and lights no longer function.Also the transmission temp no longer displays. I replaced the transmission temperature sensor. However it is still present. Any ideas or clues before I pull out the multi meter and start Oheming it out? Thank you :)

So I could be wrong but the P0713 is probably separate from your backup cam/lights issue.

The backup cam and reverse lights issue would be tied to the common rear harness that runs under the trunk lid on the passenger side. This harness is known to have wires break within the conduit. There this happens, it affects the following functions:
- rear cam
- rear trunk lock/unlock feature by remote or manually pushing the button under bumper at license plate
- rear reverse lights
- only on S550 convertibles - reception to radio or satellite radio

and a few other functions I cannot recall at the moment.

Here is the DIY thread to diagnosis, find and fix;

It can be fixed without going to the dealer if it's the wiring harness. If it's the cam itself that is faulty, a DIYer can buy a new cam and do that at home too

OR, it had finally made it to the NHTSA as a official recall item, so any Ford Dealer should fix the issue free of charge:

I do not believe that the GT350 trans temp sensor or the code P0713 you are getting has any relation to the back up cam harness/circuit.

I would start by pulling the connector off the sensor and checking to make sure the pins in the connector plug are not loose or damaged. It’s been a common occurrence with M6G members finding loose or damaged pins in certain wiring harness connectors.

If the connector looks good, probe the sensor’s Pins and see if the readout is within the Ford allowable spec (I don’t have that, someone else might). If the reading is +/- outside of the Ford specs by a great margin, the sensor is faulty.

The last thing to check would be the actual harness to the sensor. Probe the connector on the harness for continuity. If you get an -0- reading or no sound, then a wire is broken or shorted within the conduit. Peel back the conduit and look for a damaged wire.
