I just installed lowering springs sway bars and a camber plate. I’m about to have my alignment on Wednesday I remember someone in my Shelby group telling me to run the gt350r alignment specs after I get camber plate. I still have the stock gt350 wheel and tires and I love to go canyon driving...
Yes for me it turned out it was the pigtail to the alternator that was the issue my guess is that the female side had a pin that was over spread what I did is I bought a new pigtail and spliced it in you can probably just buy a replacement pin but I found it easier soldering a joint here is the...
I’ll try bleeding it it only happens when I get on it and I have no other ailments with the car like it has no problem getting into gear or out of gear it just when I give it throttle and it’s past 3-4k rpm doesn’t seem to do it in 1st gear either
So recently I’ve been having issues with my 2018 Gt350 with 14k mikes in basically every gear when I hit the throttle to do a pull my car just revs really high and barley moves it sounds very unhealthy I’ve been having issues where sometimes the clutch pedal gets stuck mid way and I have to use...
I think it wasn’t the alternator but I’m fine with keeping the new one I did damage the old one removing so thats fine it’s a brand new ford alternator from the parts department my thought was that it’s the generator current sensor either being damaged or the wires from my wot box interfering...
I don’t think I damaged any wires going from the pcm I’ll try the diagnostics and see if it’s the new alternator I don’t think it has anything to do with the wot box since the wot box only uses a couple cables 2 cables for cutting the ignition 1 cable for the clutch one for the brake pedal and...
Also gonna mention I did remove all the wire taps for the wot box to make sure it wasn’t the wot box that was causing the issue just left the ignition cables connected to it
So I have 12,000 miles on my 2018 Shelby gt350 recently I installed a WOT box on my Shelby and than all of a sudden I’ve been getting charging issues at first it would just come on and off briefly and eventually it got worse and worse I tested the battery it tests fine at about 12.3-12.5 volts...
The 2018 mustangs have the blue connectors and the 2015-2017 have the white connector my thought is that it uses the 2015-2017 mustang connector instead of the 2018 connectors
It’s the precat sensors I tried to look on the forum and it doesn’t seem like anyone has looked up 02 sensor extensions for the gt350 on stainless works pdf it’s says I need two step number 16
So I bought a pair of stainless work long tube headers and it seems that it needs some 02 sensor extensions to properly fit but I cannot seem to find them absolutely anywhere online and no one has seemed to mention it do regular gt sensor extensions fit or Is there something I’m missing
They where not aware of it but I’m pretty sure they are the same at least the stainless works ones because as you can see on stainless works website they tell you to rearrange the studs in the instructions for installing the headers
Well I asked the parts farm and they confirmed they took it off a whipple charged gt350 so I’m assuming it’s gonna work I’ll update here once I install them
