That's how I feel about it. Do not take it personally. If you want or own an ecoboost that's your decision but deep down you know what your heart wants. :D
Have you considered that some EB buyers already own multiple V8's including Mustangs and have purchased one for other reasons?

Cheers

haha to me the biggest negative to an EB is the wheels! all personal preference but that would be my first order of business if I had ordered one :p

I believe this is Oz S550 spotted thread and lets stick to that.
I am sure Yeah Nah, don't want to hurt anyone's feeling, as he mentioned "don't take it personally".

I know all the GT owners are proud of their cars and have reasons to buy one and the same is true for Ecoboost owners too.

We all love our cars for our own reasons and also based on the usage.

Some owners want a daily drive car but economical and still as much power as a Ford Falcon and it still looks same as a GT.
I decided to buy an EB first for the same reason. But after I heard the sound of a V8 on you tube and also considering the fact that it will be my weekend car, I changed my mind and ordered a GT instead.

Now I still believe there is one thing common between Ecoboost and GT, they are both Mustangs.

So lets enjoy our cars and forget which is better or which is real and which is fake. May be in 30 years from now, Ecoboost will be more appreciated, who knows, and I will still love my GT for my own reasons, like all other GT owners but that doesn't mean I don't like an EB.

PS. EB owners paid a handsome amount too, to get one and they deserve to enjoy their cars as much as all of us GT owners.
Happy Driving everyone.........:headbang:

They are both Mustangs - that's all that matters in my book.

Spotted a 3 GT fastbacks at the Broadwater Parklands (Gold Coast) in the public car park outside the Mustang nationals show. A DIB, Guard and TY with the Outlaw bodykit, black roof and aftermarket stripes.
They obviously didn't get there before the boom gate dropped at 9.00am sharp

Just spotted a DIB GT fastback in Darwin. Had aftermarket white racing stripes. Looked really nice. Anyone here's?

I was actually on my way to the motor registry to order personalised plates for my mustang at the time haha. Purchased GIDEUP. GIDDY UP was taken but I'm pretty happy with my combination.

Saw, and more importantly, heard a DIB stang roll by St Helier Drive (I was on a balcony opposite seacrest park) in Sorrento Saturday night at sunset time.

Good gosh the exhaust sounded good - tips certainly looked after market, and the cruise by V8 warble was absolutely delicious

Anybody here?

Drove my 2016 black EB Mustang from Tamworth NSW to Mooloolaba QLD and return last week and passed two magnetic 2016 Mustangs about 20kms apart south bound on the New England Highway just north of Glen Innes. The 2016 Mustang is very distinctive on the road as it comes toward you and no mistaking that it is a Mustang. My car attracted a lot of interest with "thumbs-ups" from pedestrians, cyclists, motor cyclists and other drivers. Saw no 2016 Mustangs in my travels in Queensland.

I drove my EB to Sydney and back over Easter, with some off route diversions. It performed well and I got 8l/100km on the trip. I saw half a dozen S550s including one in Sutherland white with blue stripes that seemed to have the GT350 body panels - does anybody know anything about this car? I had my wife sitting in the back on the trip home and she found it not uncomfortable. (my 6'3" son was in the front). What a great car.

I don't know about this car, but I am interested in finding out, how it looks with Gt350 panels. Does it look good ? I am planning to do the same.

You didn't let your son drive the car..? :D
