Spotted - 2018 S550

My son and I were heading down Punt Rd and spotted a 2018 S550 (Dark Blue) filling with petrol in the servo between Commercial Rd and High St. Unfortunately couldn't stop because it was 5pm (peak hour) and we were on our way to son's soccer training. I only registered it was 2018 as we were going out of sight but my 9 year old son was going off about it!!

Anyone else seen this car?

I saw the same car on Toorak Rd last year (I think it was October). Apparently it’s been imported by Ford Australia for testing.

I don’t know for sure, but I highly suspect it is. They are a fair way off from general retail sales I imagine. Pity it was too dark to get a real good look at it.

At least front looks ok in those pics.
Always felt darker colours disguised any design flaws better - sure in a year we will all be commenting on 15-18 S550 and new updated 2019 release.

Funnily enough, I think they look best when a front number plate attached. Most Americans seem not attach a front number plate, apparently sometimes legally, sometimes maybe not, depending which state they are in.

I was not aware of the XW/XY Falcon debate. Is it too late for me to join in? The XW looks so much better than the XY. And give me a bonnet scoop on a GT HO over a shaker any day. I think I might be with the minority though...

I think my 8 year old petrol head daughter saw this Triple Yellow Mustang heading west on the M4 early this afternoon.

She has a nose for spotting Mustangs in the wild!
