  2. Ford AUS Mustang Performance Upgrade

The price of $900AUS was stated in an article I read in an Australian publication on the Ford accredited Performance Enhancement Package about 12 months back for the Eco Boost and V8 and only comprises re-mapping of the engine to create an extra 25hp and the Cold Air Intake. I also thought it...
  3. Ford AUS Mustang Performance Upgrade

  4. BULLITT

This is one occasion that it's great to be wrong and I will eat a piece of that humble pie. I too read the piece in today's SMH Drive and can't wait to see the Bullitt Mustang DownUnder. Without doubt the Bullitt Mustang will much sought after, regardless of the price.
  5. BULLITT

McQueen Bullitt Mustang :ford: From what I have read, the McQueen Bullitt Mustang will not be made in RHD AUS/EURO spec, so it is highly unlikely we will ever the BM DownUnder, unless it is LHD. Yes, I would certainly like to get may hands on a set of the Bullitt wheels which are 19 x 9 at all...
  6. Dealer Servicing

Can I suggest to all 2015-2017 Mustang owners that when presenting your car at Ford Dealers for servicing that you supply you own oil (I use Penrite) and oil filter, which the dealer will/should have no objection. You will save yourself a ship load as Ford Dealers charge a huge "mark-up" on...
  7. Mustang oversupply?

At last count, my local Ford Dealer located in Tamworth NSW had 11 2017 Mustangs for sale.
  8. Ecoboost exhaust

Fitted an XForce Varex 3 inch SS Cat Back Exhaust system to my 2016 Eco Boost Mustang in June last year for a total cost of $1650 which included fitting by an exhaust specialist. The car sounds great. Maybe I got a very good price, however, the figures quoted in this thread seem very...
  9. Eco Boost Strut Tower Brace

Just wondering whether any AUS Mustang owners can point me in the right direction. I want to buy from an Australian supplier a Ford Performance Strut Tower Brace for a RHD 2016 Ford Mustang Eco Boost. Can you advise me of any AUS suppliers, or alternatively, does any member have one for sale...
  10. The GT Spare Wheel /Tyre Solution- "The Gnome Spare"

I have been following the Gnome Spare Wheel thread for a 2016 Ford Mustang and am wondering whether anyone has tried a FG Falcon Space Saver Spare Wheel (SSSW) to see whether it fits the 2016 Mustang wheel fitment. I own a 2016 EB Mustang and have purchased the FG Spare Wheel Kit for my car...
  11. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

Just wondering whether any Australian 2016 S550 Mustang owners have, or are considering, installing the OEM 50th Anniversary Grille in their cars. If you have already installed the Anniversary Grille, what are your impressions of the change in appearance of the front end of your S550.
  12. Wonky glovebox

Took delivery of my Shadow Black EB in March 2016 - no problem with alignment of the glove box which has the slow open motion. No panel misalignments or paint issues. My car was one of the early builds and I have not had the quality build issues I have seen reported in mustang6g.com. My only...
  13. All Things Ecoboost

It will take you several months, if ever, to wipe the smile from your face when driving your Mustang. I have had my Shadow Black EB since March and I am exceptionally impressed with the overall package. I have never driven a car that creates so much attention when out and about. If you are...
  14. All Things Ecoboost

In response to Louey001, I live in regional NSW running on 95 octane and consistently recording 7.6 litres/100 when out on the highway and 9.6 to 9.8 around town. I started recording these figures after 1500klms. You should be doing much better than the figures quoted.
  15. Dash Cams

I am currently considering the options for a Dash Cam in my 2016 Mustang and was just wondering whether anyone has yet installed a DC. I would greatly appreciate any comments about the type of DC, installation tips, location of the DC within the car and any other useful information.;)

  17. Aussie Exhausts

Fitted an Xforce Varex 3 inch SS Exhaust System to my EB 2016 Mustang this last week and I am very satisfied with the sound with the baffles fully open and particularly the ability to reduce the exhaust sound where necessary. Price was $1650 which included fitting. Can anyone tell me the...
  18. Mustang Pony Puddle Light

Just wondering whether any Mustang owners have experienced a problem with the pony puddle light on their 2016 Mustang. The pony light on the drivers side of my RHD Australian spec Mustang has become distorted and deformed. It looks more like a draught horse than a pony these days. I have...
  19. Climate Control Heating 2016 Mustang

G'day berserker_sid Just had a quick look at Mill Creek WA and can see you would get some pretty cold winter temperatures. Thank you for the info and I will follow your advice on setting the temperature @ 25C. You are probably aware that the 2016 Mustang has been a huge hit in Australia...
  20. Anyone get a spoiler on their Mustang?

Just a comment in respect of rear spoilers. When in stock, I will be ordering a "Cervini Wing Pedestal" as it is called for my 2016 Mustang from Mustang Motor Sport, Melbourne. I have checked out quiet a number and in my view, the Cervini is the best I have seen for appearance and fitting...
