The fan is just something they put in the base tune in order to keep things as safe as possible.

As Lund told me, it doesn't do any harm having it running but owning another Ford with fan issues, I'm like Pavlov's dog when it comes to that noise! :lol:

Think I'm going to fit a Reische 170 thermostat anyway. £70 and a 10 minute job for a bit more peace of mind.

Told ya doing the datalogs is well worth it buddy, like I say my car would of being around 445-455 pre-datalog on their base file, but fully tweaked 472HP. Well worth it!

Hopefully get it on the dyno before I go to Scotland next week.

Fingers crossed for at least 1 more bhp than you managed! :lol: Hopefully will manage at least a 15bhp increase over stock!

Jon II did say the logs were looking good but not sure if that was a generic "looking good, buddy" or an actual "wow, those logs are looking GOOD". I'm going with the latter for now.

All in all, WELL worth the money.

You cannot compare dyno's remember this unless its the same outfit, same dyno, ideally same day and same operator.

I could just go and run on a dynojet and get something insane like 460RWHP and then just pick a number like 15% for trans losses and yay down the pub I have 530HP to brag about.

That was why we were using the maha as it does not guess, it calculates it properly and the stock cars kept making bang on book figures so it was pretty accurate.
