He just installed the radiator as he was having an over heating issue again
You’re referring to the newest PP radiator this past week.
I’m referring to his previous radiator from last year when motor #1 failed. He is currently on motor #3.

Did you lose Motor #1 after you installed the CarParts Chinese DPI radiator ?
No I technically lost motor 2. But temps were great with that radiator and motor 2 was clearly due to oil starvation due to low oil.

Got ya.
I remember a year back you mentioned detonation and it was clearly a localized hot spot before the first Gen3 shorty installed last fall. I was wondering if the carparts radiator was installed before the Gen2 failure.
At this point it’s no longer relevant, enjoy your lower CHT’s for now. 👍

@GregO

Replaced my friend's stock radiator with a carparts one today and was able to measure the differences.

Stock Radiator (L x H x W):
20.25"x19.75"x1"

Carparts Replacement radiator (L x H x W):
20.25"x19.25"x1.3"
(The middle was bowed on top and bottom so in the middle the height was about 19.75")

Stock Radiator Volume: 6.55 L
Carparts Radiator Volume: 8.3 L
