If this is an original Brittany Blue car, it’s nothing like my 2022 HE.
Not mad about it, just curious why the BB is so different.
Is this car I photographed today an original color BB?
Not accounting for a re-spray or the like. It looks very similar to pictures I’ve found on the internet of BB cars. My first recent in person look at BB from the era. Recent meaning since I was a teenager best I can remember.
Maybe it’s not BB because it looks nothing like the press release photo but then I found a convertible for sale (last pic) that says it’s BB.

In the right light, the HE BB looks very similar in my mind's eye to an all-original 67 GT500 that frequented the local car shows in Long Island for 10+ years. When I see restored Brittany Blue Shelby's, the paint looks much different than what I remember the original paint looking like.

The color in your pictures looks to be Silver Blue Poly as TwinTurbo pointed out. Also, maybe it's the lighting, but your picture makes the car look very grey compared to mine.

Here's a picture in a bit of a darker light

the not-BB has a LOT more blue in it and maybe a hint of green.
BB is more like a silver with just a hint of blue.

I know on my car lighting and angles make a big difference in what color it projects. From more silver to hints of blue, it's almost as if it's color shifting paint.

Here's an old housewife blue 1966 mustang commercial.

Does it make you feel "younger"?

It is difficult to photo consistently, but almost a year after me writing the below I got to see one with my own eyes (very nice by the way :sunglasses:).

It is 'very' similar / identical to what we knew as moonstone in the UK, a colour that I believe was limited to one of our performance ranges (Cosworth) :

Looks very similar to what we knew as ‘Moonstone’ in the U.K. :

It was a late 80’s colour :like:

Some history on the vehicles before you all start laughing at the wing (again ... :giggle:) :

In race trim they were circa 550bhp and 2425 lbs with on track speeds of over 180mph - in the 1980's ... 😲

Those were and still are really cool cars. The tuned down version was here.

"I should be in the kitchen." I laughed at that one.
