It's funny that the gauges in the center of the dash make a difference, but they do to me too. I was going to go with the base GT until I did a ride-along in another member's car and saw the gauges. Also I love the suspension in the PP - the base suspension seemed a little "soft" after driving the GT PP. Good luck!

Well, Looking at the location your from and knowing how it is in Edmonton as I use to live there. I did the same thing I thought about ordering myself a PP but ultimately just went with 400A with factory 18's as I already have a pair of snow tires.. and ended up just purchasing a pair of rims to throw the all seasons on. You can probably get a nice set of winters and rims for about 1600 and use the all seasons for summer. May I ask which ford dealer your ordering from?

I was going to give Kentwood ford a try as its close to where I live now and someone else on here had a good experience there. I wasn't particularly impressed so I will be going back to Nisku ford to place my order.

Reading all of these posts hasn't really helped me. I know I don't really need the PP, this is a big purchase without adding in more money...I suppose a few extra dollars to get a lot more car probably makes sense..lol. Darn first world problems.

Kentwood was always Meh. Denny Andrews is also kind of awkward to deal with from what i recall. I've heard alot of good things about Koch and Freedom ford if your not very far. Dealerrater.com is an amazing site to check things out Both are very highly rated. From just reading the reviews of past experiences of people who have purchased cars there its defiantly where I would take my business. I suppose it also helps that I work at a Ford dealership as well.

The content of the PP is a bargain, IMO. I hate the black wheels too, but they can be swapped out and I don't foresee them being hard to get rid of since the Big Fad is black wheels these days. The rest isn't as easy (or cheap) to add.

My 1 regret in ordering my car was that I didn't get the PP. I live in Detroit so I too experience pretty bad (although your situation is worse being even further north) weather conditions for a good portion of the year.

If I could do it again, I'd get the exact same car + the PP. It's a heck of a deal based on what you get and will help on resale value (if God-forbid you ever have to part with it :D). That's my $0.02.

Living in LA planning on getting a ecoboost this weekend and can't decide if i should get PP. I'm just planning on using this car for daily driving nothing crazy.

Well went to the dealer and priced out with the PP, and without the PP but added in the optional 3.55, 19", spare tire. With the discounts the dealer was giving me there was only about $1500 more to go with the PP, so I've ordered with the PP!
Now hopefully all the snow is melted by the time it gets here!

You know you can just get bigger brakes after market/springs after market. That's a lot of money in Canada for the PP if you don't want much else from it.

But if you want the 19's and don't like the black, just get the PP and have them stripped and that power coated to something else you want. The cost of after market 19's is probably 2/3s of the PP price.

The main thing is the 3.55's...that's a nice gear ratio and everyone seems to love it.

I would definitely go with PP. But unfortunately you can't get an automatic transmission. I desperately want Ford to change that - make a PP with auto. Please!

There's nothing I regret with the PP at this point. I've warmed up to the tight-as-hell final drive, and the suspension gives an almost ideal combination of compliance and balance. It's far from harsh.

Trust me, you will not regret it! BTW 3.55 gears comes automatically with the PP package, you should not have to pay extra for that. And your spare tire will not be able to fit the front due to the massive brakes. Its supposed to not be able to order spare tire with the PP package.

3.73's come with the PP. 3.55's are not even an option and that is one of the reasons I didn't get it. I hated the 3.73's in my 2012 GT that much...
