Ordering the Shaker System Separate??

in the convertible post in this forum, i noticed that there is a shaker system option on the ordering site, is this possible that gt premiums can order the shaker system without upgrading to the 401a package?

I've already confirmed my order through the dealership, and he made me aware that I can change or restructure my order until they start production, the only reason why I didnt get the 401a was because I did not want the blind spot, hd radio, or memory seats, but only the shaker system

Can I add the shaker system as a separate option to the 400a? How would I ask my dealership to do this if it is possible.

I don't think so. Same thing as with rain sensing wipers. They are a $1975 option because they come with adaptive cruise control.

But in this case I don't see the problem. If you're not interested in all the other options in the package anyway then it's a perdect opportunity to spend your money in the aftermarket and get somethign that actually sounds good.

It would have to have its own order code in order to be separately included. In the order guide, it is listed as only include in equipment group 201a (EcoBoost) and 401a (GT Premium) or as standard on the 50th LE.

Since the website was not completed, it could only be taken with a grain of salt in terms of how to option.

If you try to add the shaker pro system without 401a, it forces 401a on you. So no, it doesn't let you add it as a stand-alone option.

That's what I wanted to know. If I want the GT PP wheels on my Ecoboost, can I ask them to give me the wheels? It does have an item code, but it belongs to the GT PP.

Has anyone ever tried this?

Ahh I forgot about that when you add options like that, very good point. I dont believe it is possible anymore

Same thing. You need to order the entire package. At some point they will be able to supply those wheels as parts, but they will be bloody expensive.

I think a better option is to find someone who has ordered a GT PP and wants to trade or sell them. If I was lucky enough to live in the US I'd already have a GT PP on order and would be relieved to get rid of those wheels.

Unfortunately I was born in the wrong country.

There is no working link at this time. The Build and Price for the mustang was leaked some time ago and people just kept the site open in their browser and never closed it. That is why they still have access to it today. If they were to close their browsing session and clear their cache, then they also would be unable to get back to the build and price.

Don't care to get Shaker Pro system as it adds weight and may impact trunk space. But I do want HD radio!!! Think there is any way to add it to prem system?
