Spoke to my distributer here and he contacted his HQ in New York, here is their reply as to why I can't have the two together even after showing him the Ford web site where you can build your own Mustang with the two together:

"I can't vouch for Ford's website but the order guides [upon which MQII is based] say that Recaro Seats are not available with the 401A package. The manufacturer sites are often inaccurate - especially early in the model year!"

Unless Ford has made additional changes to the Order Guide/options that we have not seen yet, I believe your distributor is mistaken. Order guide pic below. "O" means optional of course...

THIS ^ - It's a note about the memory seating, nothing else. I can understand why they'd think that though, as Ford didn't indent the note so that it looks like it's part of the memory seat section.

All that pic shows is that the memory seats aren't available, has nothing to do with Shaker PRO. Maybe teach them how to read a bullet list. :headbonk:

Bandvr your dealer is WRONG ... as scottpe points out, you can get Recaros with 401A, it is just that the "Memory Drivers Seat (2 settings) and mirrors" features will not be there as the Recaro's are not powered.

Edmunds seems to be good too, I just like the format on the "cars" site better.

Yeh that makes absolute sense. I read it the other way, that getting the 401A excludes the Recaro option, but yes it makes sense the note means if you get the Recaros, you miss out on the memory function.

The software (MQII) they are using says no can do, so I will wait a little and see if something changes for the better here. Worst case scenario I will decide which one I want more, kicking sound or kicking seats.
