Opinions on headers, Tune issues???

One of the people on youtube that I watch had the Corsa Extreme Catback Exhaust and the Kooks Catless Headers but said they were too loud on a daily driver, even for him. Can anyone chime in on how the Corsa Extreme and Catless headers go together on a daily driver? Any drone? Thanks!

still no drone but you heard the video, it's loud. lol

i don't want to give up my xtreme. it's only reason i haven't bit on the Stainless Power headers today.

im running sw with factory connect but my tuner made a custom 3inch connect to my gibson 3 inch catback. the headers threw my tune way off on my diablo cmr tune oh yeah im catless and dont care about a little smell i actually kind of like it.

most brands if your mix and matching, your going to need to make an adapter piece anyway

factory connect is designed to mate any exhaust to any brand header and vice versa

a "perf" connect is designed to mate that brands header and that brand exhaust together when installing at the same time.

fact connect with any brand is fine, as you'll need to put in a small 3" section no matter what, but the fact connect will allow you to connect immediately to your catback

I run a Lund tuned SP o/r headers and MBRP streets and it is pretty darn loud. People often say they can hear me coming and going from a long way off. I love the setup, very happy. Price point was pretty damn strong. Cold start is very loud. I would not suggest this setup for those with neighbors and you dd.

I am working in a big money area this week. A Ferrari went by me yesterday and it sounds "skinny high pitched". Never been more proud of my Ford.

My exhaust and JLT LUND combo came from Terry Beefcake. Bang up service Terry, thanks. I think "uncorking" is a must for maximized enjoyment of the s550.

I had to get my shop to make a custom 3 inch pipe from the Kooks, to the Borla. If i had to do it again, i would do it over and over and over. Ask David from Steeda what he thinks about my setup, if i had one word for it, it would be PERFECT.
It is indeed perfect! Nice and loud at startup, relatively quiet at idle, aggressive when you get on it.

I know some states you need to have the back o2s turned onthe catted headers.is it possible to keep the car fron throwing codes if they are with SW headers?

you may need a small sliver of pipe to connect, but can be easy to make them work

Are you talking about that small expansion that comes with the corsa, that connects to the stock diameter piping to the corsa 3 in dia piping?
If you have a performance connect header you'll remove the adapter that comes with the Corsa and replace it with a fabricated piece of 3" stainless to connect the systems.

Would anyone go with BBK headers? Price point is so low. Just wondering about quality and performance.
