No, you do not. I just got off the phone with procharger because I also have a stage 2 kit and will be doing opg's soon. They confirmed that the bolt included with the kit is not a tty and can be reused.
This is great , one thing less to worry about then, but It has been asked before and they said it was necessary but I bet procharger knows what bolt is included

The HO kits you would need to buy a new crank bolt because its still factory. But the stage2 kit you get a new crank bolt from procharger for the 8rib crank pulley.

I will be doing this soon also. On the color instructions page 14 it says to rotate the crank 1 full revolution and then rotate until the keyway is back at 12 o'clock and install RH timing chain. Explain to me how this doesn't throw it off time? I am confused.

Honestly I have never installed CG or OPG it actually just came in the mail today. I'm not doing them I'm having a shop do them. PSI proformance, I install my own ProCharger kit that was easy but I really don't have the tools or the space to do the gears.

I think I got it, 1 full revolution (from 5 o'clock to 5 o'clock) and then turning it clockwise to 12 o'clock would be right back at the beginning of the 1st stroke per se.

correct?

Trust me, I've done it twice with this method, but really trust Ford. You go from keyway at 5 o clock one full tune back to 5 then turn to 12 o'clock. At this point the right hand timing mark on the cam phaser should be at approx 11 o'clock where you started and both cams banks will be in time:thumbsup:

Don't forget that you will need a plastic or copper scraper to remove the old RTV since the block is aluminum you ill score the block and it won't seal properly.

I marked the cams position before removing chains, replaced the gears and I installed the chains but I moved it from 12oclock to 5oclock but then counter clockwise back to 12 and the cams stayed in the exact location on the mark. I started the car after finishing everything up the next day and no codes, car drives normal, if I did something wrong, how would I know?

Yeah...:doh: you had to be different right! You should be fine MMR has an instal doc that uses that method of going counter clockwise, though they do it a little different. Ford likes to keep everything going clockwise which takes an extra 360 turn to time it.

I almost got a bald spot on my head because I scratched it that much just thinking about the process, I just couldn't figure out how it wouldn't work so I tried it and I did check before cranking it up that it did hit anything so I put everything back together and cranked her up, and It started right up

I'm in as far as you can go for the job (boundary oil gear, tss crank sprocket, ati damper and upgraded primary tensioners). Parts are arriving a little later than expected so she waits. Also did the mmr secondary timing chain tensioner mod and you can see that done already. Thanks out to Shawn for some words of wisdom.

Looking really good Dave, very clean. I'm sure you had it under control, just helps to have someone who has done it handy for those WTF moments. Call me next week when you get the parts to finish if needed.

Hey! I just noticed you forgot the sound tube. Don't skip it man, you can never have too much whine.

Thanks Shawn. No pic of it but everything is covered up real good for the week to keep it as sterile as possible. Not expecting any issues but you know I'll be in touch regardless.

As far the sound tube, STOP giving me more f@&king projects!! I blame you for everything I'm doing now. :D

I cut mine off and bought a new one for the install. The correct way is to have a strap go under it as you rotate the crank and the slide it off but if you are already past timing chain removal, that's not really optimal to do. Therefore, most I've read have cut it like I did.
