I bought some used 1 7/8 ARH headers and I am trying to decide where to get bolts and if I should buy some new OEM gaskets. Do you guys know if it is ok to reuse the header gaskets and if not which ones do you recommend? Also would you recommend ARP bolts or picking up a set from ARH?

I reused the stock gaskets, and stud/nuts. Never had a problem.

Ask yourself this. Do I want to do headers twice. Chances are they will seal, but if they don't your going to have to buy them anyways.

This. Chances are decent that you'll get a good seal, but there is a not-insignificant chance that you could have a leak. Metallic gaskets tend to be a one-time use item, due to them being designed to be deformed.

I re-used stock gaskets and studs/nuts with my stainless power headers. They are multi layer steel gaskets stock.

I've installed 10+ sets of longtubes on 2011+ cars and have always Reused the original gaskets again. I've never had a leak or a car come back. On my 2011 car I installed headers and didn't have a leak then reused those same gaskets again when I installed my twin turbo kit and never had a leak. The stock gaskets are very good!

Reused stock - sold the ones that came with the headers for like $15 on the eBays.

I will be using the stock gaskets. Do you know what size the stock bolts are? I have heard that the studs won't work on the ARH headers.

We always use stock gaskets and hardware with LT on our project cars. You really won't find a better gasket than the factory one.
