Thank you for all your messages, hopefully we have made an improvement in long overdue communications this week.

I have however been travelling, so if I have missed any questions about vehicle status, please do not hesitate to give me a nudge as a reminder

Still slightly confused as to what's going on, apparently some non ucl cars have gate released whereas mine hasn't been released from the plant to the upfitters? Don't think it's going to make that boat on 18th

Ford have just tweeted a pic of a RHD 5.0 convertible that will be on show at Goodwood Revival this weekend - might answer splitter question too. It's here:

Unfortunately that is one of the pics I am referring too...the goddamm small splitter....although there are some other pics of gt fastbacks in rhd on the build line that have the larger splitter....there is a suggestion that the verts may be getting the small splitter...although all the euro body styles in lhd seem to have the larger. Either way, it is more confusion and lack of info from Ford.

Vancouver Express... possibly. That leaves Baltimore on 18th and arrives Zeebrugge on 2nd Oct, ties in with dates I've seen.
Do you think we need to organise some drones for an air escort for it?

Which Ship

I may be wrong but isn't the Vancouver Express a container ship. I believe Ford use K-Line and the Ivory Arrow is the most likely which is scheduled to arrive Zeebrugge 28th September then Southampton (via Bremerhaven) 2nd October. Unfortunately I don't think K-Line offers cargo tracking whereas the other big shipper (Wilhelm Wilhelmsen) offer cargo tracking via the VIN.

Looking forward to seeing the RHD at MOCGB annual show at Ford Dunton on 27th.

Cheers, Peter

I just got my update following my email to Andy Barratt on Monday night. Information I already knew (Oct build) but good to get the reply. Email also said lead time is 9/12 weeks for delivery, assuming that is from the actual build date. Another line from the email;
"The first batches of Mustangs are due to be released from Flatrock imminently"

Just to say a big thank you Andy to you and your team (especially Karen in DAC) for turning massive disappointment (dealer sat on order for 4 months without actually placing it!) into delight where a November build slot was secured. Can't wait for Feb/March next year where I finally get the car. Not the most ideal of introductory posts to this forum - but I see plenty of familiar 'faces' from elsewhere (I'm Stig from PH :) ) Cheers all!

Yes, this month but MOCGB members only, I believe. The details are on the MOCGB forum.

"Ford Motor Company will be showcasing the RHD Mustang to the MOCGB members at the Dunton show.

Along with vehicles from their Heritage Collection, you will be able to get up and personal with the new RHD Mustang, which has only just arrived into the UK in September. This is one of the first RHD versions to arrive in the UK and has been specifically made available for the MOCGB."

There's a change on the Ford UK website....

In the list of their cars it says 'Mustang' not 'All New Mustang' :D

That is progress as they are realising that the Mustang has been around since 2014 and is a bit old hat by now.

Got an update from Ford - early October build with an EDD of December (mid-late i'd imagine - more likely January).

Apparently RHD allocations have been small so far and have included UCL, demos and presumably early deposits, but they're increasing builds for November/December.

So, looking forward to three weeks of breathing easy and not bitchin'
