This made me laugh :

At 26:26 to 26:45 when the presenter fills his shorts.
I hate to be the one that says it, but this video was only uploaded 4 days ago and it seems there are still build quality issues. Unless the cars being tested were old press hacks (but why would they be?) or this is an old video updated to HD I'm finding myself getting a bit concerned.

Up until now I've been pretty relaxed about the build quality stories, assuming the problems would have been ironed out by the time RHD production started - but did you see the shocking alignment of the door! :eyebulge: I also noticed the boot and bonnet out of line on the EB. The issues with interior rattles and buzzes are also a bit worrying.

Somebody tell me it's all going to be OK! ..... please! ..... :faint:

Hey Kristian, when is your build date? My order was three days earlier (and dealer advises it was sent to Ford that day) and so far I have nothing - even Andy doesn't want to speak to me
Build date is 15/10 but I didn't get that from Mr Barratt. My dealer suggested that & Calv on here has sent me some data (from Vista I assume). Strange because that's a Thursday rather than what I expected which was a build week, i.e. the Monday of that same week.

I emailed Andy Monday night & he replied straight away promising an update, but haven't had one yet. As soon as I hear from him I will update my signature.

If my build date is in Vista, yours has to be to. To quote the information I have been given; "Est. Prod. Date :15-OCT-2015". Get on to your dealer again mate!

Is it possible, when one of you guys are emailing your new best friend, Andy Barratt, if you could ask him to confirm whether the rhd version has the larger front splitter like the euro lhd and the us pp versions have. Or if it is the smaller base model type splitter that all the pics of rhd's seem to have.
Thanks.
I think this is something that Pierre Bonnett would be in a better position to answer (it was his reply to me, see earlier post, that told me what the differences were between what we are getting in the UK compared the US spec cars - nothing was mentioned about the splitters).

I love how it's a 'car for females' but the male can't keep it straight in the wet.

I spoke to "my mate andy" a couple of days ago and he is travelling on business
he got pierre to speak to me last night who told me all the ucl and demo cars are built and should be shipped in the next day or so
he said they have been built in august but andy wanted them all rechecked so they wont worry about build quality which I have been assured they are happy with
he also said 12 week max to dealer from leaving baltimore

Supposed to be leaving the plant for Baltimore today, shipping date is 18th Sept. Still hasn't been released from the plant to the upfitters yet so no chance mines making that boat.

Ford have just tweeted a pic of a RHD 5.0 convertible that will be on show at Goodwood Revival this weekend - might answer splitter question too. It's here:

Around the whole world, one mounts a horse including a Mustang from the left. Just my old head trying to figure that one out. And It looks like it's going to take some time for Ford to get those convertible caps over to y'all I see. About another 6 months is all it took here in the States.

Not an issue. There'll be no reason to put the roof down here in the UK for at least the next six months... :D

Give it another month and this is how we'll have to dress to leave the house.

Three layers. One for wind, one for rain (the biggest layer!) and one to avoid your nipples turning into torpedoes from the sub 0 temperatures.

Can you get a ship name from someone?

Thank you for all your messages, hopefully we have made an improvement in long overdue communications this week.

I have however been travelling, so if I have missed any questions about vehicle status, please do not hesitate to give me a nudge as a reminder
