We may all have our suspicions about said OP but that is a reasonable question especially when the forums are littered with temp control banter in the opposite direction. I had to deal with it for a while when the temps hit around 35 - 40 before I put the car away. It's just one of those things and a lot of people probably aren't going to be dealing with it on the regular.

I'm not opining on the propriety of driving a GT350 daily in cold weather (it was -13 here in Northern IL this morning) nor taping over any of the openings, but if you're going to use tape, you should consider this. It's the real-deal "200 mph racer tape" that NASCAR teams use for covering ducts and doing mid-race body repairs.

How did you buy this? It says unavailable in any store within 100 mile radius and it also says not available to ship:(
Yeah, I didn't get it there...just posted that link for reference. The 2" would be even better. When you install it, make sure you don't stretch it. Just cut your strips to the right length and press it into place. If you stretch it, it will shrink when it gets cold and not stay on.

I think next year, I'm going to come up with a way to pre-cut a piece of vinyl so I can just do it all with one piece.

Damn after ordering it from Amazon, the seller emailed me saying I need to cancel it because they are out of stock:( I need to find one now.

MAV,

Where did you get yours? I m surprised this thing is so hard to find.

Yep, from there you'll want part number 76455A28.

It shouldn't be too difficult to fabricate a more permanent/reusable cover (plastic composite/plexi) for these vents and use something like https://www.cvs.com/shop/scotch-all-weather-heavy-duty-fasteners-black-prodid-849939?skuId=849939 to attach/detach.

If there's enough serious interest (more than 50) I'll do the R&D myself - but if you can cut a piece of ABS or other reliably durable material then heat and bend it - should be a pretty quick job:

(abs sheets)
https://www.tapplastics.com/product/plastics/cut_to_size_plastic/abs_sheets/524

bending abs (not even sure there's any curvature on those grills, but if there is):
